  • Oregano
  • Salt
  • Corn Flour
  • Maida (All-purpose flour)
  • Cooking Oil
  • Bread Crumbs
  • Tomato Ketchup (for serving)

Method:

  1. Prepare the Base:
    • Mash the boiled potatoes in a bowl.
    • Add corn flour, chili flakes, oregano, and a pinch of salt to the mashed potatoes.
    • Mix everything well to form a smooth dough.
  2. Prepare the Filling:
    • Cut Mozzarella cheese into small cubes.
    • This will be the cheesy surprise inside your cutlet.
  3. Shape the Cutlets:
    • Take a small portion of the potato dough and flatten it into a round shape.
    • Place a piece of mozzarella cheese in the center and seal the edges to form a cutlet.
  4. Coating:
    • Prepare a slurry by mixing corn flour and maida with water.
    • Roll each cutlet in the slurry and then coat it with bread crumbs.
  5. Chill the Cutlets:
    • Place the coated cutlets in the fridge for a few minutes to firm them up.
  6. Fry:
    • Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the cutlets until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Serve:
    • Serve hot with tomato ketchup or any dip of your choice. Enjoy the crispy, cheesy goodness!
