If your feed has been overflowing with this Watermelon Sago Drink, you’re not alone — and yes, it’s worth the hype.

It’s creamy. Fruity. Cooling. And has the perfect mix of textures — juicy watermelon, soft sago, jiggly jelly, and those tiny hydrating chia seeds. Plus, it's super easy to make at home.

How I Made It:

  1. Started with Chia Seeds: Soaked 1 tbsp of Chukde Chia Seeds in water for about 15–20 mins. They swell up beautifully and are great for digestion too.
  2. Made Quick Jelly: Mixed 1 tsp agar agar powder in ½ cup chilled water, brought it to a boil, poured into a tray, and let it set in the freezer. Once firm, I cut it into fun little cubes.
  3. Boiled the Sago (Sabudana): Just ¼ cup. Boil till they turn translucent, then rinse and cool them completely.
  4. Assemble Everything in a Bowl:
    • Watermelon cubes (fresh and sweet!)
    • Boiled sago
    • Jelly cubes
    • Soaked chia seeds
    • 2 tbsp condensed milk
    • 1–2 tsp Rooh Afza
    • Ice cubes + chilled milk

Mix it all up… and that’s it! Creamy, fruity, and oh-so-refreshing.

Why You’ll Love This:

  • No cooking skills needed
  • Customizable (swap watermelon with mango or strawberries!)
  • Hydrating and filling
  • Looks aesthetic — tastes even better

FAQs:

Q: Can I skip condensed milk?

Absolutely! Use honey, maple syrup, or just enjoy the natural sweetness of the fruit.

Q: What if I don’t have agar agar?

You can use any setting jelly powder or skip it altogether — though the jelly adds a fun texture.

Q: Is this drink healthy?

Yes — especially when you use Chukde Chia Seeds and fresh fruit. You control the sweetness too.

Q: How long can I store it?

Best enjoyed fresh, but you can prep the jelly, chia, and sago ahead and mix when ready.
