Palak/Spinach Corn Recipe at Home with Chukde Spices

Ingredients:
- 500 gm Spinach (Palak)
- 1 tablespoon Ginger-Garlic paste
- 2-3 tablespoons Oil
- 1 tablespoon Jeera (Cumin)
- 1 tablespoon Chukde Haldi Powder (Turmeric)
- 1 tablespoon Chukde Red Chilli Powder
- 1/2 tablespoon Chukde Dhania Powder (Coriander Powder)
- 1 tablespoon Chukde Kitchen King Masala
- Salt, to taste
- 1 tablespoon Fresh Cream (Optional)
- Boiled Corn (as per preference)
- 1 tablespoon Tomato Puree
- 2 tablespoons Desi Ghee (Clarified Butter)
- Whole Dhania (Coriander) and Red Chilies for Tadka
- 1 tablespoon Garlic, finely chopped
Method:
- Boil Spinach: Start by boiling 500 gm of spinach (palak) and make a smooth puree after it’s cooked.
- Prepare the Base: Heat 2-3 tablespoons of oil in a kadhai (pan). Add jeera (cumin) and let it sizzle.
- Add Onions & Ginger-Garlic Paste: Add onion paste and sauté for a minute. Add 1 tablespoon of ginger-garlic paste and cook until golden brown.
- Spice it Up: Add Chukde haldi powder, red chilli powder, and coriander powder to the kadhai. Mix well.
- Tomato Puree: Add tomato puree and cook for 5-10 minutes on a low flame to allow the masala to cook through.
- Add Palak Puree: Now, add the prepared palak puree and a little water to the pan. Let it simmer.
- Seasoning: Add 1 tablespoon Chukde Kitchen King Masala and salt to taste.
- Add Boiled Corn: Add the boiled corn kernels and cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Creamy Touch: If you prefer, add 2 tablespoons of fresh cream to give a rich texture.
- Tadka: In a separate pan, heat desi ghee. Add whole coriander and red chilies. Add chopped garlic and fry till golden brown. Pour this tempering (tadka) over the corn palak.
- Serve: Your Corn Palak is ready to serve! Enjoy it with roti, rice, or naan.
