Pindi Chole as hinted in its name originated in Rawalpindi, Punjab in pre-independence India. The dish is a popular variation of chole, and differs in flavour in texture from the regular chole masala. This dish is dry and made without the tomato curry basis. It's made using a whole lot of spices and is usually eaten with Kulcha or Naan.
Pindi Chole Masala is a mix of spices with rich aroma and sour taste. You can add this spice to other thick gravy dishes or dry dishes to add some zest.
